Oxtail with rice and peas was amazing, the only reason I gave it 4 is because the rice was a little too hard. I don't think it's like that all the time but that's how it was that night. Portion size was great too.
I'm from NY so Golden Krust has always been a go to for me. But I must say, the Golden Krust in Morrow has taken that to another level. I have probably been there about 4 times in the past week. The food is always super fresh, the employees are always smiling, and the beef patties just warm my heart And the Oxtails are next level.
I've been patronizing the GK franchise for years both in NY and GA and this location is by far the BEST location that I've eaten. They also donate to the community and do various community service like their free Thanksgiving dinner plate for families with food insecurity and as a way to say thank you for customer support throughout the year! The owners are hard working and very personable. There may be a lot of other GK's around the metro are but this one is by far the best!!
